As a previous owner of a custom-made craft kit wood furniture business (Picwood USA LLC and White Pine Furniture LLC). Some of his crowning achievements at Picwood USA and White Pine Furniture have been his work on the Paramount Movie "Station Eleven." At one point, Tom had twelve employees and over twenty shops selling his products, including Walmart, Wayfair, ETSY, and numerous gift shops in the United States. Due to having essential tremors, Tom has given up his furniture business.
Now in his retirement years, last year he made his lawnmower hotrod and is now working on a 1908 Model T cycle car in his spare time with his photography.
Tom is also legally blind and a Service-Disabled Veteran. He has “Tunnel Vision” (if you look through a roll of paper towels, you can roughly see what he can).
